Hi, I’m Erin Fairchild.
I obtained my Master’s in Social Work from Portland State in 2009, specializing in childhood trauma. I have worked with communities impacted by trauma for over 20 years, in roles ranging from:
Domestic violence child and parent advocate
Child protective services worker
Parent-child trauma therapist
School-based social worker
Trainer and curriculum developer
Program and policy designer
Workshop facilitator
Consultant and coach
Violence Prevention Systems Manager for Multnomah County Public Health
Liberation work is a deep and connected part of my life, and I am so grateful for that.
I love stationery, journaling, podcasts, art supplies, growing flowers, kids, laughing, connecting with people, chocolate cake, swimming in the river, and my incredible community and family.
I live in Portland, OR with my partner and our two cats, where I also run a creative journaling and stationery business, Journal As Altar.
